Warning: This is going to be long and may not make that much sense.
I decided that I would start my spring break early sense I have to work all day Thursday, Friday and Saturday. So I skipped school on Tuesday and went home after school on Monday afternoon. It was not a great warm day but still it was pretty decent. I went to the movies with my parents and we went and saw He is just not that into you. I would just have to say that it was the stupidest show that I have seen in a long time. It might have just been the fact that I went with my parents but I wanted to leave about a half an hour into the movie but my mom said that she wanted to see if it was going to get good. After wanting to stay I had to hear her say how dumb it was all the way home.
Tuesday I got to sleep in and boy did it feel good. And that is pretty much all I remember about this day so besides that I went babysitting that night. It must not have been a very productive day:)
Wednesday was the only complete day that I got off with no work or anything to do. I decided to spend this day cleaning. I was in the cleaning mood. I went out and cleaned the garage because it was actually warm outside. Then I cleaned some of my house and I made dinner and lunch. For those that know me that is not something that I do everyday because I am a horrible cook but lunch and dinner actually turned out ok and I didn't even kill anyone. that night I had to decide if I was going to drive back down to Provo so that I babysit for my cousin in the morning or if I was going to get up and 6am to drive down.
Thursday I spent the whole day babysitting for my cousin down in Lehi and I had to get up at 6am because I stayed up in Kamas to watch a movie with my mom. I was in Lehi babysitting Kayden who is 2 and a half and Kamryn who is almost one. It was a long day and their mom didn't come home until 5:30pm. When I finally got home I was all by myself because my mom and dad decided that they were going to take a trip to lake Powell in my dad's sports mobile.
Friday my babysitting job cancelled and I was totally bummed because I lost out on $150. That would have been half of my rent. Anyway I ended up running a day care out of my house instead. After I ran around helping Luke ride his bike around the loop my friends Emily and heather came into town with their kids for a surprise party. They had asked me to babysit for them while they went shopping for food and stuff. So at about 2 Emily dropped of her 3year old and 1 1/2 year old, Heather dropped of her 2 1/2 year old and their brother dropped off his 2 1/2 year old so that they could all go shopping. PLUS I already had Luke up at my house because he wanted to help me "babysit" I was shaping up to be a very busy day. But then at around 3pm the little girl I babysit sometime wanted to come over with her friend and help me "babysit" also. They are both about 9years old and they actually ended up being a little helpful. Then to add to my daycare Susan called to say that she was going to dinner for her sons birthday (Susan is Luke's, Chynna's, and Sophie's mom) and that she wanted to know if Sophie (who is 7 years) could come up. So if you are not keeping track that is now 8 kids. These eight kids were at my house until about 8 and then they all went there separate ways. That night I slept so good I could not believe how tired I was.
Saturday started at a quarter to 9 when Emily called to say that she was going to have all the kids over to the Oakley tin building and that it would be great if I could come over and supervise. (for those that are having a hard time following along. The kids I am referring to are Savannah (3yrs), Rachel (1 1/2), Tristan (2 1/2) and Sylvia (2 1/2). ) I will spare you the details of this day but it didn't end until about 10pm!
Well that is the end of my Spring Break and now I am just back at school counting down the days until Summer.
P.S. Sorry Gen if this sounds horrible with run on sentences. I have a very annoying roommate singing in my ear and I think I might hit her so I have to leave the room and I don't have time to read this over and fix it.
I did read this when you posted, but my head hurt from all the run-on sentences. I had to wait a while before I could comment!
ReplyDeleteSounds hectic and not fun at all. Not the way Spring Break is supposed to be when you are 20.
Oh, and "I'm Just Not That Into You" was great. Your taste sucks, but the longer you know me, the better it will get! :p
